24 top-rated stays across 15 Thailand cities. Every booking removes 1 ton of CO₂ via verified Climeworks direct-air-capture — same price as Booking.com, free cancellation.
Search carbon-neutral hotels in Thailand →Every hotel in our Thailand network is bookable carbon-neutrally through IMPT. We currently feature 24 top-rated stays in 15 cities — from major capitals to coastal resorts. Each booking funds 1 ton of permanent CO₂ removal via Climeworks direct-air-capture, the same technology Microsoft, Stripe, and Shopify use to hit their net-zero targets.
The Thailand hospitality industry is increasingly carbon-aware — most luxury chains now run formal sustainability programmes. But certification is patchy and slow. IMPT covers the gap: regardless of whether the property itself carries an EarthCheck or Green Key badge, booking through us removes more CO₂ than a typical Thailand hotel night emits.

No. IMPT prices match Booking.com and Expedia — the carbon removal is funded from our commission share, not added to your bill. Same room, same price, climate impact cancelled.
When you book through IMPT, a portion of every booking funds Climeworks direct-air-capture in Iceland. One ton of CO2 is permanently removed per stay (vs ~25 kg typical hotel night emissions), verified by independent auditors.
Based on our network: Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Cha-Am, Sattahip. Use the city links above to drill into each one.
A property where the CO2 emissions from your stay are matched by an equivalent reduction or removal of CO2 elsewhere. The hotel itself does not have to be emissions-free — the climate impact of your room is cancelled out via verified carbon credits or direct-air-capture removal. Through IMPT, every booking is automatically neutral.
Carbon neutral means the CO2 you put into the atmosphere is matched by the same amount taken back out — a net-zero balance. For a hotel stay, the roughly 25 kg of CO2 your room generates gets cancelled by funding an equal or greater amount of carbon reduction or removal elsewhere.
Travel where the CO2 impact of every leg — flights, hotels, ground transport, food — is measured and offset or removed. The World Travel and Tourism Council defines it as net-zero emissions across the trip lifecycle. Hotels are the easiest leg to neutralise.
A stricter standard than carbon neutral. Net zero hotels measure all operational emissions (Scope 1, 2, and ideally 3), reduce them as far as physically possible through efficiency upgrades, then remove the rest via permanent storage. Net zero implies removals only.
A credit representing one ton of CO2 avoided or removed elsewhere. Two types: avoidance offsets (e.g. forest protection) and removal offsets (e.g. Climeworks direct-air-capture). IMPT funds removal offsets — the more climate-rigorous type.
Removing more CO2 than is emitted. Booking through IMPT puts your hotel stay in this category — we remove 1 ton of CO2 per booking, whereas a typical hotel night emits about 25 kg. A 40x safety margin, climate positive not just neutral.
Tradeable certificates representing 1 ton of CO2 reduction or removal. Each IMPT booking generates a removal credit issued by Climeworks and recorded on a public ledger. The credit is retired and attributed to your stay — it cannot be double-counted or resold.
Major chains running formal programmes include Iberostar (since 2020), Accor, Marriott (committed 2050), Hilton LightStay, IHG Green Engage, and Six Senses. Through IMPT, all of these chains plus 800+ others become carbon-neutral at the booking level.
The standard methodology is the Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative (HCMI), endorsed by the WTTC. A typical European mid-tier hotel runs 18-35 kg CO2 per room-night; luxury and conference hotels can hit 80-120 kg.
Yes — Booking.com 2024 Sustainable Travel Report found 75% of travellers want to travel more sustainably, and 43% are willing to pay more for verified eco options. IMPT removes the pay-more barrier: same price, climate cost cancelled.
An offset prevents emissions from happening (e.g. funding a forest not to be cut down). A removal pulls CO2 already in the atmosphere out and stores it permanently (e.g. direct-air-capture). Removals are 10-50x more expensive but climate-scientifically more rigorous. IMPT funds removals.
Not when it is measurable. IMPT publishes the exact tonnage removed for every booking, the certificate ID, and the third-party auditor (Cabot, DNV). You can verify any specific removal on the Climeworks public ledger.
