Questions, answered

What is IMPT, actually? Explain it like I'm five.

IMPT is a hotel booking website — like the big ones you already know, with 8 million+ hotels at the same live prices — with two differences. One: every booking pays for a tonne of real, verified CO₂ to be removed, out of IMPT's own pocket, and the customer gets the certificate. Two: instead of ads, IMPT grows through local Partners — one person per territory who licenses the exclusive right to run IMPT where they live and keeps half of what IMPT earns on the bookings they bring. You'd be that person for your area.

What does IMPT stand for?

IMPT is short for 'The Impact Project' — the mission the platform grew from: making everyday spending fund verified climate action. The company behind it is Irish (CRO 700834, Dublin).

Walk me through the whole process — what is my role, step by step?

1) You claim your territory at own.impt.io — one payment, first payment wins. 2) IMPT builds your machine within 14 days: a flagship booking site for your area over 8M+ hotels, AI staff answering enquiries 24/7, dashboards. 3) You get trained within 7 days and receive the full operating manual. 4) Your job from then on is local energy: share your flagship, register people with your links, introduce local shops and businesses. 5) Every confirmed, completed booking you bring pays you 50% of IMPT's commission, monthly, to your bank account. Read the full detail at /license/how-it-works/ and /license/we-power-you/.

Do I earn on bookings IN my territory, or bookings BY people from my territory?

Neither — and this matters. You earn on the bookings YOU bring, wherever the guest lives and wherever they travel. Your territory is your exclusive seat, brand and flagship — not a fence. A customer you register in Madrid who books a Tokyo hotel is your booking. Someone else's customer booking a Madrid hotel is not. One booking counts once, to the one Partner who brought it — the attribution rules are published on your dashboard. The climate side works exactly the same way: the tonnes retired on your territory's ledger come from your members' bookings. No members brought on means no earnings and no climate impact — bringing people onto the platform is the whole job, and it's what the platform's growth is built on.

Why would anyone book on IMPT instead of Booking.com or MakeMyTrip?

Same rooms, same live prices — so the booking costs them nothing extra. What's different: their stay retires a tonne of verified CO₂ with a certificate to prove it, bookings earn rewards across a 25,000+ shop network, and there's a local Partner — a face and a name — behind the platform. When price is equal, people pick the one that does good. And for companies with climate reporting duties, the booking-level evidence is the whole reason to switch.

Do I have to sign up hotels myself? Do the hotels even know about IMPT?

No hotel-hunting. All 8 million+ hotels and apartments are already live and bookable on your flagship from day one, through IMPT's global inventory connections — live prices, instant confirmation. Your effort goes into customers and local businesses, not supplier contracts.

Will you give me customers, or is all the marketing on me?

Both, honestly. IMPT gives you the machine that converts and retains: the flagship site, AI staff answering every enquiry 24/7, SEO content engines, the network of IMPT sites feeding demand, plus training and playbooks. You bring the local push — sharing, registering, relationships. Partners who operate earn; the territory earns nothing by itself, and we'll never pretend otherwise.

What are these 'registrations'? What does signing someone up 'under me' mean?

When someone creates their IMPT account through your links or QR codes, they're tagged to you — permanently. Every booking that person ever makes, from anywhere, for anywhere, credits your territory for as long as you hold the licence. That registered base is the compounding asset of the business: work you do once that keeps paying.

Do I need to live in the territory to buy it?

No. Many Partners operate their home town; others take a place they know well or see potential in. What matters is your ability to drive adoption there — the licence has performance targets, and local presence obviously helps.

Do I need an office, staff, or experience in travel?

No office, no staff, no travel background. The platform, inventory, payments and support staff are IMPT's; training arrives within 7 days of starting. You need energy, reach and consistency. You're responsible for your own local business registration and taxes, like any independent operator.

How much can I actually earn — give me a realistic number.

Here's the honest version. The mechanics: on a €300 booking, IMPT's commission is roughly €30, and you keep half — about €15 per booking you bring. Our published illustrative month at Madrid scale is ≈€3,480 alongside 244 tonnes of CO₂ retired. But no figure is promised: earnings depend entirely on the adoption you drive, and a territory nobody operates earns nothing. Anyone who promises you income in a business like this is lying to you — the contract itself makes us put that in writing.

50% of WHAT exactly? A £300 booking earned me £15 — that's not 50%!

50% of IMPT's commission, not 50% of the booking. The hotel keeps the room price — that's their product. IMPT's commission is roughly 10% of the booking value (≈£30 on £300), and the Partner who brought the booking keeps half of that (≈£15). It's defined precisely in the agreement: 50% of 'IMPT Net Commission' — what IMPT actually receives, net of processing costs, refunds and taxes.

When do I break even on the licence fee?

It depends entirely on your pace, so we won't invent a date. The maths you can do yourself: your fee ÷ ~€15 per average booking = bookings to break even. A district at $801 is ~40 bookings; the contract's own targets ramp to 20 bookings a week by month 7. Whether you hit that is down to you — the machine exists to make it achievable, and no result is promised.

Does it run itself, or do I have to work it?

You have to work it — and be suspicious of anyone selling you 'automatic' anything. The machine automates the hard parts (bookings, payments, enquiries, content), but the growth is you: registrations, local relationships, being the face of it. The contract says it plainly: no operation, no revenue. What IS built to compound is your registered customer base — every person you sign up keeps crediting you for as long as you hold the licence.

Who pays me, when, and how?

IMPT pays you by bank transfer, to an account in your own name, monthly in arrears, within 15 days of month end — itemised booking by booking on your dashboard so you see exactly what IMPT sees. Margin counts once a stay completes (until check-in the hotel's cancellation terms can apply), which is why what's paid never gets clawed back.

Is this a scam? I've never heard of IMPT before.

Fair question — you should ask it of everyone. Here's what you can verify without trusting us: the company is registered in Ireland — AI Tokenomics Ltd, CRO 700834, 13 Adelaide Road, Dublin — checkable on the public register at core.cro.ie. The Sunday Times profiled the founder. Yahoo Finance covered the $30M fundraise. Business Plus reported the Catalan government Climate Credit partnership. The partner flagships (cheaphotelsmadrid.com, imptcatalonia.com, pomeranian-poland-hotels.com) are live sites you can visit now. The full contract is published before you pay. And the register at own.impt.io shows every claimed territory. Scams don't publish their contracts, their company number and their government partnerships.

Can I talk to a real person, not an AI?

Yes. Laura is AI (we say so openly — she's also the product you'd be licensing, so judge her by how well she answers). Behind her is the human team in Dublin: book a call from any conversation with Laura, and country-level agreements always complete on a call with the team. Mike English, the founder, is public — his story is in The Sunday Times.

Can you show me proof it works — real bookings, real partners?

What we publish: the live flagships you can visit today, the public register of claimed territories at own.impt.io, the press coverage, the government partnership, and the interactive demo of the real Partner dashboard at /license/we-power-you/. What we don't publish: individual Partners' earnings — their businesses are private, and we won't parade them. What we'll never do is promise you their results.

What happens if IMPT closes down in a year?

The honest answer: the agreement can be ended by either side on 30 days' notice, and commission already earned stays payable — that's in the contract. What we can show you about staying power: an 8M-hotel platform already trading, a $30M fundraise covered by Yahoo Finance, a European government plugging IMPT into its climate system, and a register of Partners that grows every week. No company can promise you forever; we can show you momentum and put the exit terms in writing.

Why does something this good need ME? Why don't you just run it yourselves?

Because trust is local. We could spend the licence money on ads; we'd rather have one committed person per territory with real skin in the game — someone the local hotel association, football club and high street actually know. Movements scale through believers who own a piece, not through ad budgets. That's the whole licensing thesis.

How much does a licence cost?

Every territory is individually priced, live, at own.impt.io — entry-level districts start around $801, flagship regions and cities are priced to their scale, and countries complete on a call. The price shown at checkout is the price charged, in your local currency where supported. No negotiation ladder — the same price for everyone is part of being honest.

Can I pay in installments?

The licence itself is a single one-time payment — first payment wins the territory, so a half-paid territory can't be held against other buyers. If the price is a stretch, the honest route is to start smaller: districts start around $801, and 100% of a region fee credits toward its country within 12 months if you upgrade. Ask Laura what's open near you at your budget.

Is it one-time or are there monthly fees? Renewal charges?

One-time. The contract says the fee covers the licence and onboarding — 'nothing more'. The agreement runs 24 months and renews in 12-month terms at no further licence fee. There's no subscription, no AMC, no renewal charge; what keeps the licence alive is operating it, not paying again.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card (Visa/Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay) and bank transfer, with local-currency display for most markets. Bank transfer is often the smoothest road for larger territories. Whatever rail you use, the receipt, the countersigned agreement and the register entry follow the payment immediately.

Is there a discount? The price is high for my country.

Prices are live and the same for everyone — a register you can trust has to work that way (imagine buying, then finding your neighbour paid 40% less). What we do have: district-level entries from about $801 in most countries, and the region-to-country upgrade credit. Value for money comes from what the licence includes — site, AI staff, engines, training — not from haggling.

Can I reserve a territory while I decide?

The register works on first payment wins — that's what makes 'one Partner per territory, ever' enforceable and your seat safe once you hold it. If you're deciding, decide with the full contract in hand (Laura sends it free) — but know that an open territory is open to everyone until someone pays.

What exactly happens after I pay? Give me the timeline.

Minute one: your payment confirms, the territory locks to you on the register, and the countersigned agreement plus licence pack arrive by email. Day 1–7: onboarding starts and your training happens — platform, dashboards, playbooks, the full SOP manual. Day 14: your flagship booking site is live. Month 1: no booking targets — it's the learning month, and your marketing plan is agreed. From month 2: you operate, the ramp begins, and your dashboard fills. Every step is written down — nothing depends on chasing anyone.

Do I get my own website? Whose name is on it? Who maintains it?

You get a dedicated flagship booking site for your territory, carrying your territory's identity — built, hosted, secured and maintained by IMPT's engineers, at no extra cost, ever. You never touch code or servers. Madrid's Partner runs cheaphotelsmadrid.com; yours is built the same way.

Who handles customer complaints, refunds, traveller problems?

IMPT does — 24/7, in the guest's language, per the hotel's terms printed on every booking. Laura and the support team behind her handle questions, changes, cancellations and payment help. You are never the customer-service desk; you'd be the growth side of the business.

Will you train me or am I on my own?

Trained, contractually: full training within 7 days of commencement — platform, booking flows, dashboards, retailer onboarding, marketing playbooks — plus the complete SOP manual and quarterly business reviews with IMPT thereafter. The training is a clause, not a promise.

Can I own multiple territories? Can I buy a whole country?

Yes to both. Some Partners hold several regions; countries are their own licence (see /license/country-manager/) and complete on a call because national agreements are tailored. And if you start with a region, 100% of its fee credits toward its country within 12 months.

Can I see the contract BEFORE paying?

Yes — and you should. Ask Laura on WhatsApp and she'll send the complete signable agreement free, before you commit to anything. It's the identical text issued at checkout, and /license/agreement/ walks through every clause of it in plain English.

What am I buying exactly — what do I legally hold?

A licence: the exclusive, contractual right to operate IMPT's platform in your named territory, plus the machine that comes with it. Not shares, not property, not employment — the agreement is explicit about what it is and isn't, and makes you tick each acknowledgement separately before you can sign. Read /license/agreement/ for the full clause-by-clause.

How do I keep the licence? How would I lose it?

You keep it by operating: the printed targets ramp from 5 confirmed bookings a week (month 2) to 20 a week (month 7). Falling short doesn't trigger anything sudden — 'persistent failure' is defined as three consecutive months below minimum (or six in a rolling year), and only then can IMPT reduce exclusivity, resize or terminate. Serious misuse of the brand or unlawful conduct can end it faster. A Partner in good standing is never displaced.

Can I sell or transfer my licence later? Pass it to family?

Only with IMPT's prior written consent — the licence is personal, not a tradeable certificate. What genuinely transfers value over time is the registered customer base you build, which keeps crediting your territory while you hold the licence in good standing.

Is there a refund if it doesn't work out?

The contract gives you: a 14-day cancellation window after payment (unless you asked IMPT to commence immediately and the territory has been countersigned and assigned), a full refund if identity checks aren't passed, and a 30-day exit either way with earned commission still payable. What there isn't: a refund because results disappointed — results are yours to drive, and the agreement makes that explicit before you sign.

Whose law governs this? What if something goes wrong?

Irish law, Irish courts — with your own country's mandatory consumer protections explicitly preserved. The agreement is formed electronically under the EU eIDAS framework with a full record (document ID, timestamp, payment reference), countersigned by IMPT.
