Why we exist.
Every industry says it cares about the planet. Travel mostly proves the opposite. IMPT was built on a different bet: that millions of people would move their everyday spending — trips, stays, shopping, gifts — to one platform that does the right thing every single time, without charging them a cent more for it. Not charity. Not offset guilt at checkout. The right thing, built in.
The story so far
Eight million hotels and apartments, the same rooms and prices as the big booking sites — with one difference: every confirmed stay retires a tonne of verified CO2, paid from IMPT's own commission, tracked publicly. The guest pays nothing extra. The planet gains every time.
IMPT is set to become the first registered intermediary under the Generalitat de Catalunya's Climate Credit system — Spain's Catalan government recognising IMPT retirements inside its official climate framework. A booking platform, plugged into government climate machinery. That's new.
The Sunday Times told the story first: “My carbon-neutral hotel booking app is built for good people.” Yahoo Finance covered the $30 million fundraise accelerating IMPT. Business Plus reported the climate credit initiative. The story is public, third-party, checkable.
And then the register started filling: Madrid, Catalunya, Pomerania, Cape Town, Hanoi, Lekki, Gurugram, Mwanza — and whole countries from Ireland to New Zealand. Partners who looked at the movement and decided they'd rather run a piece of it than watch it happen.
Why partners, why licences
We could grow this with ad budgets alone. We'd rather grow it with people: one Partner per territory, with real skin in the game, building the movement where they live and earning on every customer they bring — from anywhere in the world. When your neighbour runs the local face of a climate platform, the movement stops being an app and starts being a community.
That's the licence. That's the whole idea. Everyone monetised, everyone doing the right thing, the environment better off with every booking.
Movements don't wait.
The register grows every week. Take your place in it — or watch someone else take the one with your name on it.
Questions, answered
Is IMPT really about climate, or is that marketing?
Every confirmed booking retires a tonne of verified CO2, funded from IMPT's own commission and publicly tracked — and a European government is plugging IMPT into its official Climate Credit system. The climate maths is the product, not the poster.
Does the guest pay extra for the offset?
Never. The guest pays the hotel's live price — the same room and rate as the big sites. The offset comes out of IMPT's side of the booking.
How is this a movement and not just a company?
Because the growth is people, not just ads: one Partner per territory, across the world, each running the local face of the platform and earning on the customers they bring. Companies scale with budgets; movements scale with believers who own a piece.
