This privacy policy applies to the IMPT website (impt.io) and the Carbon Switch browser extension.
The Carbon Switch extension reads the current page title and URL solely to construct a search link to impt.io. No data is transmitted to any server. No personal information is collected, stored, or shared. The extension has no analytics, no tracking, and no external network requests except when you explicitly click "Book on IMPT →", which opens impt.io in a new tab.
The extension requests host permissions for booking.com, expedia.com, hotels.com, airbnb.com, and tripadvisor.com solely to inject the Carbon Switch banner on those pages. These permissions are not used to read, collect, or transmit any user data.
IMPT collects information you provide when making a hotel booking (name, email, payment details) solely to process your reservation. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Booking transactions are processed by our hotel booking partners under their respective privacy policies.
IMPT uses cookies for session management and analytics. The Carbon Switch extension does not use cookies.
