IMPT Weekly Update – Dec 15, 2023: The End of A Great Year For IMPT – Country and Tech News 🚀
Country Developments with Denis Creighton: In the past year, Denis’s focus has been on countries, culminating in a deal to sell the UK in January 2024. This includes Ireland, Latvia, Malta, Austria, Poland, Spain, Romania, Slovakia and in early talks with Singapore. The strategic partnership with Trovr, key players in a deposit and fund scheme across Europe, is groundbreaking. Trovr partnership will expedite the delivery of Country Buys to 12 countries in early 2024. Positive developments include addressing commissions on IMPT Stripe issue, implementing a new gateway to Stripe, and potential acquisition of Vienna.
Marketing Strategies: CTO Mike English emphasizes the importance of marketing. IMPT is building its shopping community, targeting Web2 users. The App has achieved top ranks globally for eco-friendly and green shopping. Updates on downloads and App marketing program are expected in January.
Shopping APP Taxonomy – Conor on Tech: The search engine and taxonomy have significantly improved, nearing the desired state in early Q1 2024. Positive feedback is received from users and offline retailers, enhancing the user experience.
Big News for Utility and Gamification Tech Delivery: Our CTO, Mike English confirms the on-track development of Utility and Gamification Tech. Progress includes completed UI/UX, logic sprints into Utility, and delivered APIs. Full automation into Utility, from Web 2 to Web 3, is expected for a mid to late January release. These updates aim to make a significant contribution to climate change and environmental impact.

-Shop as you always have, no need to add a wallet to your account to buy and retire carbon credits.
-Earn rewards while shopping normally.
-Decide when you want to purchase a carbon credit.
-Choose to use rewards, fiat, or a combination for carbon credit purchases.
-Carbon credits retire now part of our utility.
-Current Web3 users can still access it in the “Browse Projects” section, but in Web 2, users can only retire carbon credits.
