The Medina is walkable end-to-end (the alleys are too narrow for cars anyway). The Alsa bus network covers the wider city. Petits taxis and grands taxis are cheap and universal. For longer trips to Essaouira or the Atlas Mountains, supratours and CTM buses are direct and lower-carbon than rental cars.
