Book a hotel within riding distance of the trails. Filter for bike storage, wash bays and shuttles. Every stay funds carbon removal.
Ride more. Carry less. Leave it better.
We surface hotels by proximity to the world's best mountain bike trail networks, then show you which ones have bike storage, wash bays and shuttles. Same price as anywhere else; every stay funds direct carbon removal.
We rank hotels by how close they sit to the trails you came for: ride-from-the-door, short pedal, or quick shuttle. No more scrolling through 200 random properties to find the three on the right side of the valley.
Trails firstIn MTB destinations the majority of hotels offer secure indoor bike storage: locked rooms, racks, sometimes CCTV. Each listing shows what's on-site so you can confirm before you pay.
Listed per hotelThese are regular hotels that happen to sit near great trails. Couples, families, non-riders, all welcome. Bring the dropper post or the swimsuit; nothing on the booking page changes.
Everyone welcomeIMPT funds direct air-capture carbon removal on every booking: one ton of CO₂ per stay. The trails you ride deserve the planet you keep.
1 ton CO₂ removedIn dedicated MTB destinations most hotels cover the basics, especially secure storage. Beyond that, amenities vary. Every IMPT listing shows exactly what's on-site, so you know before you book.
Filter the world's hotels by where you want to ride, then by the amenities that matter to you.
Choose a region or bike park: Finale, Morzine, Whistler, anywhere. IMPT surfaces hotels ranked by trail proximity, with their nearest network and distance shown on each listing.
Bike storage, wash bay, shuttle, e-bike charging. Toggle on whatever matters. Most MTB-town hotels cover the basics; less so further from the lifts.

Mountain biking depends on what mountain biking is built on: forests, alpine ecosystems, snow lines, glaciers. The sport's footprint isn't enormous, but the airports and hotels that get us to the trails are. IMPT lets you fix the second half on every trip.
Every booking triggers direct air-capture carbon removal via Climeworks, the highest-quality removal technology available. One metric ton of CO₂ is permanently removed per stay, on top of a 5% contribution to a climate project of your choice.
We work with 8 million+ hotels across 195 countries. This page surfaces the ones closest to recognised mountain bike trail networks and bike parks. First by distance, then by amenities you can filter for.
Pick reforestation, ocean plastic removal, clean cookstoves, solar, or direct air capture. Five percent of your booking goes there. Tracked in your IMPT wallet, every euro.
Not every hotel claiming "bike-friendly" actually is. Here's what experienced riders look for.
"Bike storage" sometimes means a garden shed with a padlock. Look for a dedicated, indoor, monitored room with numbered racks, and check whether bikes go behind a digital lock or a brass key handed to anyone.
Hose-only is fine for dust; for mud you want brushes, degreaser, drainage and a workstand within reach. Bonus points for a covered bay so you're not washing in alpine rain.
"Close to trails" can mean a 20-minute pedal on tarmac. Check whether the property is on a trail network, has shuttle service, or is a short pedal to a lift base.
Wet gloves and pads kill morale on a multi-day trip. A heated drying room is the difference between a fresh day-two and a soggy one. Same-day laundry is gold for week-long stays.
Big alpine days start before the cafés open. Look for breakfast from 06:30 and packed lunch optional. Saves you fumbling for a panini at a closed bakery in a French village.
Trails close. Weather rolls in. Bones occasionally break. Booking with free cancellation up to 24–48 hours before check-in keeps your week salvageable.
Bike park base camps, enduro lodges, e-MTB destinations, bikepacking-friendly stops, family-bike resorts. Filter the network however you ride.
Lift-served downhill and flow. Hotels at or near the lift base: Whistler, Morzine, Lenzerheide, Bike Republic Sölden, Bikepark Innsbruck. Workstand, full-bike rental and shuttle to the gondola.
Search bike-park hotelsLong descents, mixed terrain, big days out. Finale Ligure, Punta Ala, Squamish, Davos. Properties geared to all-day riders: shuttles to high starts, guides, suspension service, big breakfasts.
Search enduro lodgesProperties with secure battery storage, multiple charging sockets, e-bike-grade rental and routes designed for assisted riding. Ideal for big-mileage days without lifts.
Search e-MTB hotelsOne-night stops on a longer route. Quick check-in, secure overnight storage, laundry, hearty dinner, no fuss. Often hostels and small guesthouses on long-distance bikepacking lines.
Search bikepacking stopsProperties with kids' bike rental, beginner-friendly trails on the doorstep, MTB schools and non-rider amenities (pool, lake, restaurants). For groups where not everyone is going full pin.
Search family bike hotelsFour- and five-star bike hotels with sauna, ice-bath, massage and physio, the kind of place to send the body home from after a week in Finale. Bike storage and wash on the same standard.
Search luxury bike hotelsSit close to a popular trail network or bike park? Riders are searching for you. IMPT ranks hotels by proximity to MTB trails. List your property with us, surface your amenities, and reach a rider audience that books multi-day stays at peak season.
